Positive leadership is a positive result






Por Mauro Libi.- Studies have found that worker engagement is a key indicator of corporate performance, so the secret lies in matching economic gains and human flourishing. The work centers with pleasant and prosperous environments have an impact on the workability and the productivity, the work becomes rewarding and is carried out with better performance. In addition, the health of both employees and the organization itself increases.

     Companies where employees are more closely connected and feel more involved with business values, exhibit higher levels of profitability, productivity, turnover, less work absenteeism and are better evaluated by customers. When the worker feels satisfied, he becomes more involved in his work, while developing better relationships with the other members of the organization, even cultivating friendships. For them, their work is very important. 

     This is not by chance, but the product of positive leadership for which the wellbeing of workers is as important as the profits that are generated, they make the maxim that workers are the most important capital of organizations. Positive leaders (those who promote an equally positive climate in organizations, those who develop high levels of empathy with the members of their work teams) are those who achieve better results in their management. Improving the way the daily tasks are developed helps build better workplaces.

     Positive leaders develop a positive and welcoming environment where positive emotions that provide security and allow discover and build new skills, social bonds, knowledge and behaviors. It is estimated that organizations that allow positive climates through high levels of compassion, forgiveness, gratitude, integrity, trust and optimism, exhibit better work processes. There, positive leaders cultivate a positive emotional environment that improves workers' life’s quality, commitment and performance. Positive leaders reinforce the self-esteem of workers, who feel that what they do is important, they empower themselves, they commit to work and to the company.
