In previous
delivery, we talk about the sophrology and we define it as the science that is
responsible for teaching the individual the most direct way to happiness, peace
and serenity. We also point out that this discipline contributes to humanizing
the hospital-doctor-patient relationship, as well as being a practical
anti-stress method to develop concentration, memory, self-confidence. In this
opportunity, we want to emphasize the concentration or to focus.
Why is
important to be concentrated? Why do you insist so much on it?
·
Without
concentration there is no hope in the human being, because hope is illusion, it
is motivation. If a man doesn’t concentrate on a life purpose, a project to be
carried out, a goal to achieve, then it is not motivated and, therefore, there
is no illusion.
·
Like
memory, which is dependent on concentration, willpower is dependent on
illusion. And there is no way to develop willpower by itself. What has to be
developed is the capacity for enthusiasm, motivation, a goal to achieve.
·
When
the human being is curious about something, he "observes" with any of
the senses, which are the only tool that has to supply information and
knowledge consciousness, which does not exist without body. The senses are
consciousness.
·
This
is why sophrology says that consciousness is biological because it is like a
product of the biological brain and this is nothing other than the synthesis of
the development of the human species.
·
The
lack of concentration makes individuals scattered and lazy, because when the
will weakens, because the illusion is scarce, there is annoyance and laziness.
Laziness today has very little to do with morality, responsibility and shame,
but it is considered as a sort of "psychological virus" that is
waiting for the will to weaken. Laziness can be disguised to manifest not only
as a lack of desire to do something, but manifests as pain, dizziness,
migraine, constipation, sprained feet, anger, sadness. Laziness is a tool of
fear to sabotage the projects of the human being.
·
It
should be noted that when we refer to the illusion we make no mention of
fanciful questions, but the desire to reach a goal, to concretize an achievable
project. Illusion is an achievable project to realize and all this is
intimately linked with concentration, with imagination, because without it
there is no hope, without imagination there is no faith, there is no enthusiasm
and, of course, there is no motivation. It is a chain:
Concentration-illusion-will.
·
When
the will weakens because the illusion is not enough, then laziness appears
disguised as diseases that will help to justify the reasons for defeats and
failures. 95 percent of athletes' injuries happen 24 hours before the
competition, because that helps them justify losing in tournaments.
Sophrology
offers tools that help the individual to recover the illusion and therefore to
concentrate on the achievement of its objectives and goals.
